Ben Hauter, MD was inspired to pursue primary care by his parents whose small-town practices had great impact on their community. Ben started Salt and Light DPC right after residency at SIU Family Medicine in order to pursue his goals of providing high quality primary health care. He Lives with his wife, Brittany, who works as an occupational therapist, and their 2 children.
Brittany Hauter, MOT, OTR/L, CSRS, CFPS is a great addition to the clinic. She holds a Master's degree is in Occupational Therapy, and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Brittany is a great addition to our weight loss program with her experience as an Exercise Physiologist. She is also the mastermind who keeps the clinic running behind the scenes.
