Ben Hauter, MD was inspired to pursue primary care by his parents whose small-town practices had great impact on their community. Ben started Salt and Light DPC right after residency at SIU Family Medicine in order to pursue his goals of providing high quality primary health care. He Lives with his wife, Brittany, who works as an occupational therapist, and their 2 children.
Brittany Hauter, MOT, OTR/L, CSRS, CFPS is a great addition to the clinic. Her specialties are in occupational therapy and exercise science gives a great perspective to our weight loss program. She is also the mastermind behind all of the advertising through the posts.
